Clowne Local History Society was formed in 2003 by Arthur Heap, a lifelong resident of Clowne. Its main aims are to provide social and recreational activities for local residents and establish, maintain, promote and preserve the heritage of Clowne.
We have a number of exciting projects
We also produce a annual Calendar showing then and now photographs of the village
Meetings are held at 7PM on the last Tuesday of each month at Clowne Community Centre. New members are welcome.
