Men and Women killed in World War 2 on the Clowne War Memorial.

The list below contains 35 names of men and women (2) who lost their lives in World War 2. After the success of the launch of the booklet on the 105 men who lost their lives in WW1, a second publication is being prepared to cover those in killed in the second great conflict of the 20th century. We have researched the family histories of the individuals below. These family histories are available in Ancestry. Access to the tree will be given when one of the two publications are purchased, or a £10 donation to Clowne Local History Society. By clicking on the surname this gives access to the Ancestry tree – Clowne Memorial – which contains all the family histories of the 140 men and women killed in both world wars. Over 5,000 individuals are linked to the 140 men and women.
